Ryan and Cheryl

She held his hand tenderly as he vowed to love and cherish her forever. He met her gaze with emotion filled eyes as she promised to love, cherish and respect him for the rest of her life. On a hot indian summer day, Ryan and Cheryl promised to love, honor, cherish, and push each other to follow their dreams. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they vowed to walk through life together forever.

"Simply Meant to Be"

When I first met Stefanie, it was at my brother's wedding eight years ago. I remember our conversation about "wedding bells" for her and Bryan. I remember her saying something like "not in the near future, and who knows if I can get this guy to marry me. He's into his video games right now." Well, I guess she did it! She got Bryan to temporarily separate from his video games and now she is Mrs. Bryan Marr!! You go girl! Their wedding day started off kind of rough with unpredictable weather. Their wedding was an outdoor wedding, but it rained and hailed and thundered that morning. In the end, it all worked out. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding that was "simply meant to be." Congratulations, Bryan and Stefanie! I was so honored to have been your photographer and witness such a joyous event.

Before And After Glamour Event

Two weekends ago I participated in a vendor event at The Bra Lady. There was a glamour makeover event for mothers and daughters. My friend, Laura Gonzales-Nixon, did the make up using Mary Kay products and hair and make up was done by Bree and Ginny. We had such a great time! We will be having another event like this soon, so keep checking my blog for dates.

Meet Melinda

Sweet Little Melinda (I call her Melly Bear) is such a little angel. I had the pleasure of photographing this little sweetie a few weeks back. She was so shy in front the camera, but as soon as I put the camera away, she would ham it up. I am glad I was able to capture these photos as they are so sweet and candid. Thank you Jen for allowing me to photograph your little angel. You are a dear friend and an amazing mom with an inspirational story. I look forward to photographing your beautiful and happy family next month.

Lexi's First Communion

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Lexi. Wow, how grown up she is. I remember when Lexi was about to start kindergarten and learning to read. Now she's going on 9! Time passes by so fast. What a little lady she is becoming. Thank you Orlando and Nichole for thinking of me. What a beautiful family.

Meet Christian and Sage

I had fun photographing this dynamic duo. Between photo shoots, I can see from the corner of my eye these two punching each other and play fighting... I guess that is what brothers and sisters do to each other. Christian, a star football player and Senior at San Dimas High was such a ham in front of the camera. He's Mr. Cool Stud Man! Sage, oh so sweet and shy. Her smile was like sunshine lighting up my day. I can see why her older brother is so protective over her. Sage, just don't bring your boyfriends home because your brother plans on showing him his guns! She's a cheerleader in training and not even in high school. What a bright future these two have ahead of them. Thanks Recca for letting me photograph your two babies.

Jump For Fun at Allen Avenue!

What a great day it was on Friday, 2/12/10! For Valentines Day Allen Avenue had a "Jump for Fun" day. My son's kindergarten class with Miss Demus demonstrated their jump roping skills and had a blast. This brought me back to when I was a little girl and used to jump rope with my friends. Later that day the class ended their day with a huge Valentine's Day celebration where the students passed out Valentines Day cards and ate cupcakes and drank fruit punch. They were wild!
